What a Difference a Day Makes

Yesterday it was all blue skies and sunshine, oh bitterly cold yes but sunny.

And then, oh my what happened then?

Winter came back good and proper. I’m snowed in today. The last couple of days, finally, for the first time in a long long time I felt like I was making proper good making progress at work. I have shelves full of wet pots, mainly plates, which are destined for Minnesota. The way I work I throw plates on the one day and then tend to throw the rims back down again the next day as they always rise up a lot as they harden, especially these with the wide rims. Today I can’t get there though, so I am hoping that actually they’ll still be wet enough tomorrow to get the rims thrown down, or having just looked at the forecast, maybe sunday. I can no longer see out of the window here as the snow is plastered right across it. It’s like living in an igloo.

Good heavens! It looks like Antarctica out there. I guess I shouldn’t b*#&ch about our weather, although we have yet to see a daffodil.

May the snow melt and provide water for the summer!
