It’s been quiet on the pottery making front for a while from this half of Fitch & McAndrew hasn’t it. I’ve been having raw material problems on the pottery side of things. However this week I have learnt three new things…
1. Spring Fling make some sweet films, strange to see myself on this one. Spring Fling happens the 23rd to 25th May this year and really if you can be here to enjoy it then you jolly well should com. Watch the film here.
2. After an unexpected stay in hospital this week I have learnt that I do not like morphine. The nurse was shocked saying he’d never seen a reaction like that before. Anyway on the mend thank goodness and I feel human again which is rather a relief. Normal service resuming soonish.
3. Fitch & McAndrew will be exhibiting at the first Ceramic Art York in September at the new Centre of Ceramic Art there. We are very excited to be there. It’s great to have another show up north, there’s a lot of pottery starved people and the museum reopening there will have some amazing pots on display with their staggering collection of Studio Pottery and medieval pots too. It’s going to be a fabulous resource.
Other than that Doug is still working hard which is great, somebody has to be not still in their pjs flopping on the settee. I’ll be back at it in the not too distant future though I think.
