The Wild Dangerous Unpacking

We unpacked the kiln on Saturday in a howling winter gale. It was quite vile weather, cold, wet, hail, wind, all thrown at us. What with that and the pheasant shoot going on around us scaring the wits out of me and infuriating me at the same time it was quite an eventful morning. Here is a video for you.

This week ten of these pieces are being photographed so that I can create an online celebratory exhibition of work to mark the end of the year in which I celebrated my pottery’s tenth birthday. They will be available for sale with a limited edition commemorative book and limited edition etching of mine.

I shall publicise it on my blog and I will also email it out to my mailing list so if you aren’t already on the mailing list and would like to be then do please sign up to it here.

The gunshots were odd…looks like you’ve figured that kiln out !

Another great video. It’s fascinating to watch it all come out of the kiln.
I’m impressed by the puddles in the road, too.

Oh my! How to you manage to remain so calm and patient when there are such gorgeous things to be unpacked that you have seen for the very first time?
