Ten Years In

Well well well, who would ever have thought that I would get to the point where I would be thinking about how to mark the fact that I have been in business on my own for ten years? It seems impossible, I mean firstly surely I only left college about 4 years ago and surely I’m not sensible enough to have gotten this far into it. It seems almost impossible really. Anyway regardless of how it feels, it is how it is. So how to celebrate? Answers on a postcard please. First off I am going to have an open studio day in February on the 9th to which you are all welcome, more details to follow.

I have this week started making pots again, not many so far but one has to ease oneself in gently to these things. I already have a pretty busy year lined up and we are only 10 days in. I’ve also been making, slightly belatedly, some Christmas presents, these two aprons for two good and lovely friends of mine who know who they are. I enjoyed getting my sewing machine out again, and I plan to do a bit more over the next couple of weeks too.

A very brief first post for 2013, I’ll be back again soon.

Meredith, I am pretty sure you left a comment but it seems to have vanished! I don’t understand why. Has anyone else tried to comment?
