Potfest time of Year

Well I’m home from Art in Action, I unpacked and did the washing and now it’s packing up time for Potfest in the Park! This one is only an hour and a half or so down the road so much less traveling than last week. Great to meet lots of blog readers last weekend, thanks for saying hi.

I’m just wondering whether to take this plate to Potfest or whether to keep hold of it and get a proper picture taken of it before I risk letting it go anywhere. I’m really very pleased with it you see.
This is the back of it.

So Potfest in the Park, this friday to sunday, 29th to 31st at Hutton in the Forest, over 100 potters exhibiting their wares in this glorious setting. Come and see us all if you are around the Cumbria area, and if you’re not around the area it really is well worth taking a trip out.

I say take it and price it on up. If it sells then good, if not then you can get the pic made.

What Ron said! If I have something I make, that I love, love, love, I too price it high. IF it goes I know whomever bought it must love it also. :) LOTS of sales to you!

I'm of the opposite theory. It is an awesome piece, so we know that you can sell it whenever you feel like. And getting a good image will last long after the money you make will.

P.s. Were you selling at Art-in Action? And thanks for the tile….I'm honored.

  5. KEEP! Hands down it is lovely and needs more time with YOU!

You have enough stock to keep the "stunners" back, get good images done and bring them out for a special show

I'd have a chat with the plate to see if ready for the big wide world. If not keep it in the family – looks special to me!!I don't want to leave just yet MUM!!

Wow. I can understand your reservations about taking it; it is *really* gorgeous. I'd probably keep it for now, get the photo so it's available to for use in the future, and put it for sale later some time. It's so pretty that I can't imagine it being a chore to get it to sell.
