Potfest in the Park

I spent last Saturday afternoon with my mum and dad and my sis and her fella and their little son, my nephew, Gregor. Is Gregor not just gorgeously squeezable?

We have had some amazingly hot days here in south west Scotland, I’m really not used to it. It’s had my rose bush in full bloom which has been great and it smells lovely too.

I can’t resist giving you another picture of the bundle of giggles and cuddles.

Back to the serious business of work and pottery though. This weekend is Potfest in the Park at Hutton in the Forest. I shall be there with lots of pots and hopefully a smile for you all. There’s a huge array of potters exhibiting there and as always it is well worth the trip for anyone who has an interest in all things clay. Highly recommended. It’s open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 5pm.

I’m hoping that the warmth and the sunshine will continue for the weekend, too, and that my mermaid comes through the kiln successfully for the Potfest competition.

He’s so much more expressive than that other little prince everyone is gabbing about.

  2. Have a great time at Potfest.
