More ladies who lunch.

Not sure what’s gotten into me, this is the third time in a week that I’ve been out for lunch with other people and not sat like a little hermit or hobbit in the studio having a quick sandwich and barely stopping work for it. Anyone would think I had nothing to make, it’s very not like me. Today I popped into Castle Douglas our nearest town, it has just this one street really, with Amanda and Janet O’Donnell. Nice little town, looks a but dull and grey today though, rainy rainy rainy. Good to see the girls, always many laughs with these two. (Sorry for the blurred pic.)

The friendly local picture framer in CD, Roger, has been collecting this corrugated paper for me to use as packaging so I collected that from him this afternoon too. I’m always a fan of free and recycled packaging materials. Thanks Roger.
Anyway, must rush now have to pop down to work for a wee while, things to do and all that.

I was once caught in traffic in CD – had to wait at a junction for about 20 seconds while a car went past and my Aunt said “it’s rush hour.”

Thanks for the response to the pic, and yes Andrew that is indeed your platter. Hope you are enjoying it.
