I think my brain is almost full of things that it had no idea about until today, what PPE to wear, the twelve health and safety features, guard links, tie links and pitch and depth gauges, rim and spur sprockets, tensioning chains, cleaning and servicing air filters and spark plugs! Tomorrow we get onto mixing fuel, and actually chopping things up. It’s been pretty full on with the old maintenance and stuff today, especially as one who though I have taken apart and fiddled with many things, has never taken apart and fiddled with motors and engines before.
Sorry Ron I didn’t take any pictures, there were three fellas and the male instructor so I thought they might not be impressed if the girly started whipping her camera out. Wait till I get one of my very own, I’ll take pics of that, Paul is getting rather too excited about it all.
I popped back into the workshop to wrap up some pots this evening and Ceramic Review had arrived. I found it quite wierd to open it and find that they had printed a small article that they had asked me to write. It seems like ages ago that I did it and I wasn’t really sure they would use it or not but anyhow it’s in this issue. I haven’t read it in the magazine yet, a bit worried as to how I will sound, it’s quite bizarre seeing my words in the magazine I’ve read for years.
