Ham House

Well these are the biggest plates that I can fit in my electric kiln. They looked pretty big – until they got into their new home at Ham House. Now they look like tiny sized plates on this enormous table in the kitchen there.

I just had an entertaining 40 minutes in a Hannah v cat v shrew game. We play it fairly often. This time I thought I had won but then realised that the fact that the shrew I had just ‘caught’ stunk and was very cold and stiff meant it wasn’t the one I had just chased across the floor with the cat. Later I did manage to catch the new shrew and released it. Poor thing, must be scared witless. Two big ginger things careering after it around the room, one with 4 legs, one with two legs and a bowl and a piece of card! It has now been released outside.
