Fresh plates and finished pots.

Well I wanted to give you some fresh plates and finished pots tonight but Blogger isn’t playing and I could really do with an early night so no time to be fiddling around with it. Sorry about that, I’ll have to do it when I get back from Oxford. What I was going to say though was that I’m looking forward to seeing the CPA show at Oxford but I do tend to find, as I did at the weekend when I met Peter Dick, that when I meet these pot idols of mine my brain tends to turn to mush and I can’t think of anything intelligent to say. I always have lots of things in my head that I want to ask but then I’m just rubbish and feel like a numpty afterwards as I always feel that I’ve wasted an opportunity. Silly I know but there you go.

Nothing silly about that! It is normal and that is why they are idols. Try writing some notes. Nothing wrong with pulling out a list. It shows you care, your serious and it is important. I do it all the time when meeting people. I even practice asking the questions in advance.Good luck! Hope the CPA goes well and is all fun. Oh, just remember, you are an idol to others too and they’d be just as mush around you.Bring back lots of pics.

maybe some cheat notes up ya sleeve may help…..

  4. Naahhh … we all do that, Hannah. I spent a career talking to and writing about people I admired and after a while you realize they’re just people. Stumble through one or two questions and if they’re decent sorts pretty soon you’ll just be talking like fellow potters.
