Day 3.

This morning we received a visit from 20 Japanese kids who are staying at a school nearby, they were really keen to see a pot throwing demo. They watched in silence as I centered the clay and then as I pulled it up they oohed and ahhd in unison, most amusing. Then they all had their picture taken with me, I’m hoping they will email a copy of it over to me.

This is their teacher translating my explanation of a slip trailer to them.

Jolly visit from Mr Paul Young potter extraordinaire this morning. He was on his way back from Potfest in Perth and called in to say hi to me and Lizzie.

Myself, Lizzie and Petra outside my workshop at the end of a long and tiring but very fun weekend. Glad to report that my Paul is home, the job is finished and the wedding apparently was lovely. Time to relax and open a bottle of wine I think.

Sounds like you’ve had a great few days. Paul Young, what a legend, God bless him.

  2. Hey Hannah, glad it’s all gone good for you. Are you feeling better now and ready for Devon next week?
