Busy week but little to show

It’s been a week of doing lots of things but getting to the end with very little to show for it which is rather frustrating for me. Leaves me feeling like I wasted the time somehow.

Last weekend I went down to Manchester to see a bunch of friends from university, one of which was just back from the Carribean for a week or two, she lives out there now running a pottery. On the friday evening I went with my friend Emma to see Kate Rusby play at Gawsworth Hall in Cheshire. Kate and her band were brilliant! Later in the weekend we had a soggy but lovely birthday picnic for another Emma in the park.

For a little bit more culture this week Paul and I went to see Hamlet performed by the Globe Theatre Company in the grounds of The Crichton in Dumfries. I only lost a couple of the quiet death scene lines to the sound of the rain pounding on my head. We were very lucky really, it was dry almost the whole evening and what a great way to see Shakespeare played. It was fab!

Finally a wee film for you, hope you enjoy.

    This is the story Dan
There is an old king jug who has a very bad brother jug and a typical teenage son jug who completely destroys the entire firing So when Fortinbras opens the kilm door he finds nothing but shards.

  5. Hannah says:

Oh Dixie, then that is the story of this week’s kiln firings, all shards, I wondered what had happened, I should have known!

Thanks in particular for the video. Really like the sounds and images captured in it.
