A very sociable day.

What a day, after being so productive yesterday, I seemed to spend all day today chatting, by no means a bad thing sometimes, in fact a pretty enjoyable day. Had a great natter to Doug this morning, and then Amanda popped in dropping off some pots she had very kindly collected from a gallery for me and then John Edgler called. I was talking to John about feathered slip and it reminded me of these plates that I’d made when I was with Jason. I just fished them out of an old photo album and the label says 2002, that’s 6 whole years ago. Where does it go? I know where one of the plates went, well I know who I gave it to, I have a sneaky suspicion that after a particular event about 5 or so years ago that it might have been given a home in the bin or at best in the charity shop. Que Sera.

Funny looking at old pots, nice though, good to see where I’ve come to / gone since then. Spent the rest of the day packing up pots to send off, some down to Doug and some to Hornseys in Ripon who seem to have been selling my pots well recently.

I can see your touch in those bottom two, not so much in the top one. It is fun to see where we’ve been.
