Art in Clay

Art in Clay at Hatfield House this weekend folks. I am all packed and just about ready, a couple more things just to sort before I go and fingers crossed the van will be fit and well this time unlike the evening before my trip to Earth and Fire. Poor Professor Yaffle, he had a bad time last week, put me in a bit of a tizz he did but my wonderful mechanics had him fixed and well and ready to go in record time thankfully.

Slip Trail and Finger Wipe Jug available from Castlegate House Gallery.

I know you won’t all be able to visit Hatfield but I look forward to seeing those of you who can. Don’t despair though, if you are in Cumbria then you can visit Castlegate House Gallery in Cockermouth who have just received a new delivery of my work including the jug above. They do mail order too if you can’t get to them.

Slip Trail Bird Tile available from Schaller Gallery, St Joseph, Minnesota.

I have some pots to take to Hatfield that I am pretty dam pleased with and I am looking forward to showing them. In the meantime of course there are pots still coming through the process including the sgraffito jug above as there is always another show on the horizon. Looking further ahead after this weekend will see Potfest in the Park at the end of July followed by sending work for the shop at Contemporary Ceramics in London for August through to November amongst other things.

Have a great weekend. I’m amazed your mechanics got the van back on the road as quickly as they did.

Hurrah! Glad the van is cooperating. Have a fantastic show! (Oh and are you missing some of your rain? It seems you may have left it behind here in Virginia…..)
