Here we are on the eve of setting up day for Potfest in the Park at Hutton in the Forest, a stunning setting on the edge of the beautiful Lake District, what a place for a pottery show. I’m all packed up, pots, stand, tent (shame it’s a bit further to your place this time Dixie), sleeping bag, clothes, waterproofs and sun hat, sun cream and fleece jumpers, welly boots and sandals. You just never can tell. I’ve been in a flipping flapping state all week but today thankfully I feel a lot calmer and more together. I hope to see you at Potfest for some pottery enjoyment and ceramic wonders.
I had a miner tizz as I realised that I had barely two dozen postcards left – oops! Too late to order any too. My local printers have stepped up to rescue me, they’re just basic black text cards but I am mighty grateful for their swift work. Thank you Small Print in Castle Douglas.
Once upon a time I wrote a post in which I stated that I never get flowers. This week I received a bunch on two consecutive days. How lucky am I? I love it. All being well I shall bring them down to Penrith with me, hope they travel ok.
that is lucky- i love getting flowers!
Have a great show.
Hope the Festival goes really well for you.
