Oooh Flapping!

Remember my wee oooh men? Well here’s some bigger oooh men. They’re glazed inside but otherwise will be naked clay.

So the question is- Does this

 and this

and this, equal a full wood kiln? Hope so….

Lastly some wet slip for you connoisseurs of the stuff.
I spent yesterday on my bike taking part on the Diva 100 in aid of Action Medical Research. Four of us from Castle Douglas-ish were there up in Fife along with lots of other women for the day. It started cold and almost frosty and so I thought I’d not need my sun cream and I certainly wasn’t carrying anything that I didn’t need to carry – oops! Sun burnt arms now. I don’t know that neck of the woods at all, we started at Tullialan, then out to Cullross (I know a potter here), Valleyfield, Kelty, round the eastern side of Loch Leven to Milnathort (I know a potter here), then along some little roads and back down to Tullialan almost via Dollar but not quite “if you get to Dollar you’ve gone too far” (saw a sign for another potter I know on the home leg). What a wonderful route, really great, slightly busier on some roads that the roads we are used to here but we had a stunning day for it and the views were magnificent. Great fun day and with great company. Today I feel just dandy too, always a pleasant surprise.
